GG Radio is committed to making https://ggayperadio.com accessible and usable for as many people as possible.

We want visitors, listeners and artists to be able to access GG Radio regardless of disability, access needs, device or assistive technology.

1. OUR APPROACH TO ACCESSIBILITY

GG Radio aims to make the website clear, easy to navigate and compatible with commonly used accessibility tools and settings.

Where reasonably possible, we aim to follow recognised accessibility good practice and work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard.

2. WHAT WE AIM TO PROVIDE

We aim to make the GG Radio website easier to use by providing:

Some parts of the GG Radio website rely on external services, including:

  • TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

  • Payment providers

Some accessibility features within embedded players, forms or third-party services are controlled by those providers rather than GG Radio.

We will make reasonable efforts to choose accessible services and configurations where possible, but we cannot guarantee that every third-party feature will meet the same accessibility standards as the main GG Radio website.

4. RADIO AND AUDIO CONTENT

GG Radio is primarily an audio-based service.

​

Some radio broadcasts, music, interviews, artist introductions or other audio content may not currently include transcripts, captions or text alternatives.

Where a visitor requires information from a particular piece of audio content in an alternative format, they can contact us and we will consider reasonable ways to assist.

5. IMAGES AND ARTIST CONTENT

​

GG Radio aims to provide alternative text for images where those images communicate important information.

​

Some decorative images, artist artwork or third-party promotional materials may not require detailed alternative descriptions.

​

If you need information contained within an image in another format, please contact us.

6. FORMS AND ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

​

We aim to make artist submission and promotional forms as clear and straightforward as possible.

​

Some forms may be provided by third-party services such as Jotform.

​

If you experience difficulty completing a submission because of an accessibility issue, contact GG Radio and we will consider a reasonable alternative method where possible.

7. COLOUR, TEXT SIZE AND DISPLAY

​

Visitors can normally use their browser or device settings to:

  • Increase text size

  • Zoom the website

  • Adjust display contrast

  • Use accessibility or screen-reader settings

  • Navigate using keyboard controls where supported

The website uses strong pink, cyan, white and dark backgrounds as part of the GG Radio visual identity. We aim to maintain sufficient contrast between important text and its background.

8. KNOWN LIMITATIONS

​

GG Radio is continually developing its website and some areas may not yet be fully accessible.

​

Possible limitations may include:

  • Third-party embedded radio players or widgets

  • Embedded music and social-media content

  • Some historical or artist-supplied images without full alternative text

  • Audio content without transcripts

  • Features provided by external platforms

  • Occasional layout issues at unusual screen sizes or very high zoom levels

We aim to address accessibility issues where reasonably possible as the site develops.
